Yes, Chandigarh University do provide placement training for Industrial Design students. Each mentor handles only a small group of students. This means every student gets proper attention. If someone has doubts in studies, mentors explain and make things easy. The assigned mentors guide and help students in studies, career choices and even personal growth. The best part is that mentors are chosen based on what a student needs and what they are interested in. This makes the guidance more useful and personal.

No, an entrance test is not mandatory to secure admission in Industrial Design at Chandigarh University. If you meet the basic eligibility criteria of scoring at least 50% in your 12th (or diploma), you can apply directly. However, the university strongly encourages students to appear for its entrance exam, CUCET, because it opens the door to scholarships that can cover a significant part of the tuition fee. CUCET isn't a tough exam like national-level design tests; instead, it evaluates simple logical reasoning, creativity, and general aptitude. Many students take it as a way to not just save on fees but also to highlight their intere
