If you are yet to complete the 12th grade, you can study for engineering exams like JEE, VITEEE and UPTU to get enrolled in a B.Tech course in the computer Science branch. The eligibility criteria of VITEEE-2023 is given below. Eligibility: Candidates applying for admission to the B.Tech programme must have obtained a minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology in Class 12. However, students in the reserved category must earn 50% of the possible points in Class 12. So you are eligible for VITEEE-2023 for admission in B.Tech courses.

As told by other people here the cut off ranks for SRM are almost correct and the IBC also get the following problems
But to be honest SRM is not really a great option for B.Tech and here is why that is true:-
As you compare the investment and the return you get after 4 years, they are nowhere near. I mean why would somebody give 16 lakhs to study in SRM knowing that the avg. package is of 3 to 3.5 Lakhs and that too for CSE branch, which is by the way their best branch and all of this statistical data is for Main Campus. I was excited too after I got my result for SRMJEE, it was 1602 rank but after going through all the evidences, I co
