The general eligibility criteria for admission to te best Music colleges in India are mentioned below:
- The candidates are required to complete the basic course in vocal or instrumental music.
- There are three undergraduate programs: BA (Hons in Music), BFA (Music) and B.PA (Music). Besides, to pursue three years' undergraduate course, the candidate must have passed Class 12 board examination with minimum of 50 percent marks in aggregate (45% marks for reserved category candidates).
- To pursue a postgraduate course, the candidate needs to have completed an undergraduate course in music (either vocal or instrumental).

Aspirants need to qualify SEE conducted by the university for BPA admission. After completion of the selection rounds, the university releases a merit list to announce the names of the shortlisted candidates. The shortlisted candidates are called for counselling and document verification. Aspirants need to pay a course fee to confirm their seat in the university.

The total seat intake for BPA is 30 as per an unofficial source. Candidates who have passed Class 12 with at least 60% aggregate can apply for the BPA course. Candidates are required to fulfil the eligibility requirements and submit their proof of eligibility during the document verification round. Any candidate found ineligible during the verification process, will not be given admission.

Yes, Direct admission without entrance exams is possible for BVA at Amity School of Film and Drama. but some specializations require taking the Amity Film and Drama Entrance Exam (AFDME) or the Amity Entrance Exam for Engineering (AEEE).
Your score in these exams can significantly impact your selection. 70% or above aggregate marks in Class 12th, This is the base requirement for most BVA specializations at ASFD.
