WBUT PGET 2026 Admissions: Phase I Counselling Allotment OUT, Cutoff

WBUT PGET (West Bengal University of Technology Post Graduate Entrance Test) is a state-level engineering exam conducted by Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad University of Technology. Through the exam, students can get admission to course programs such as MTech, MPharma and ME. The WBUT PGET does not have any fixed minimum qualifying cutoff marks. Instea  MAKAUT uses a rank-based merit system. The WBUT PGET 2026 merit list is prepared following the mentioned criteria:

• Candidates who have qualified GATE Exam or GPAT exam, need to have 70% weightage of the entrance test and 30% weightage of PGET

• Candidates who have qualified MAKAUT PGET 2026 will have 80% of weightage considered from entrance test and 20% weightage from their academic performance

Overall, the cutoff is updated separately by the institutes. Students will be notified about their qualifying status along with the document verification schedule.
