Different people have different opinions for RISD. Some have a positive opinion which includes university's praise, high rankings and the way they prepare their students for the outside world. Whereas some people raises concerns about the high tuition fee.

Following are the scores required for the scholarships-

RRC Polytech Students' Association International Student Scholarship- The scholarships will be presented to the students who attain the highest GPA after their first term; applicants must have achieved a minimum 4.25 GPA after the first term. 

Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited Entrance Award- if he/she continues to demonstrate financial need, has maintained full-time enrolment, and achieved a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 in the previous year. 

Brenda J. and Roger L. Kennedy Award-  Have achieved a minimum 2.5 GPA or 65% or C+ average.

Chandigarh University extends scholarships to Fine Arts students based on their performance in the Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test (CUCET). The scholarship percentages range from 15% to 100%, with eligibility criteria tied to CUCET scores. Students scoring 90.01 to 100 Marks receive a full scholarship, while those scoring 40 to 49.99 Marks are eligible for a 15% scholarship. These scholarships significantly ease the financial burden on students, making quality education accessible. Aspiring Fine Arts students should strive for higher CUCET scores to enhance their scholarship benefits.
