To become a Geologist, aspirants should have completed the Masters' or Research programs in Geology.
I would suggest you for M.Sc Geology. The eligibility criteria for which is holding a Graduation degree in any discipline. However, many of the reputed Universities demand graduation degree with Honors in Geology / Psychology / Sociology or Geology as one of the subjects studied in Graduation from any of the recognized College / University.
Some even ask for a minimum of 45-50% marks in graduation as qualifying criteria to secure admission in this course. After successful completion of the program, you can take up a career in fields such as:
