BFA and animation are two different fields, though both involves high level of creativity and the basic skills required are almost same, the application area and technique is different i.e. Animation mainly involves use of a computer and different type of software and BFA is mostly computer independent
Both the fields are good, it totally depends on your interest that which field you want to choose.

You can only opt for certificate or diploma courses in Fine art after 10th because to pursue BFA you must pass 12th first or complete your diploma.
