Some of the important books that the candidates can check for Assam CEE Physics section are - Concepts of Physics by HC Verma, NCERT Physics and Principles of Physics by S. No. The authorities have not yet announced any revisions in the Assam CEE 2026 syllabus. Since there is no official Assam CEE syllabus, the candidates will have to check the 12th standard qualifying state-level entrance examination syllabus by the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council/NCERT. However, the syllabus is likely to remain the same and not be revised. If there are any changes made in the syllabus, then it will be announced online by the authorities.

Candidates are advised to check the previous year's question papers and sample papers to know the important topics of Assam CEE Chemistry section. The list of important topics that the candidates are advised to give more importance are - Electrochemistry, Redox Reactions, Alcohols, Phenols and Ethers, Solid State, p-Block Elements, d and f Block Elements, States of Matter: Gases and Liquids, Aldehydes, Ketones and Carboxylic Acids, Surface Chemistry, Polymers and more. However, the candidates should study the entire syllabus to have more chances of obtained the required scores for admissions.

Candidates will be able to access the Assam CEE syllabus from the official website of Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC). Since no official Assam CEE syllabus will be released, the candidates will have to check the 12th standard qualifying examination syllabus to know the topics and units that need to be studied for the entrance examination. Assam CEE syllabus will consist of topics and units from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

According to the official Assam CEE exam pattern, the examination will be of 3 hours. During the duration, the candidates will have to attempt 120 objective multiple-choice questions. It is to be noted that no extra time will be allotted to the candidates to complete the examination. Candidates are advised to work on their time management skills so that they are able to complete the examination within the allotted duration. However, since there is negative marking, the candidates are advised to be careful while choosing the questions to answer.

As per the official exam pattern, Assam CEE will be held in two languages - English and Assamese. The official Assam CEE question paper will be available in both English and Assamese to the candidates. This is done to ensure that the candidates do not face any problems in understanding the question paper. After reading the questions, the candidates will have to check the available options and select their choice of answer and mark in on the given OMR sheet.
