Yes.  The candidates will be required to verify their provisional certificates during the Assam CEE counselling process. All of the important original documents and their photocopies have to be submitted for verification to confirm the allotment. The official validity of the Assam CEE result is one year. The candidates will be considered ineligible and disqualified from the process, if they apply for admissions after one year. Therefore, the candidates will have to register for the counselling and admission process in the same year as they have qualified the examination. If the validity of the result has expired, the candidates will have to re-attempt Assam CEE.  

If two or more candidates score the same marks in entrance examination, then authorities will refer to the tie breaking guidelines to prepare Assam CEE ranks. If there is tie, candidates who have a higher aggregate marks in 12th class PCM will be given higher rank. If tie still remains, candidate with a higher overall aggregate in PCM and English in 12th class will be given a higher rank.
