Hi there, For pursuing a career in Theoretical Astronomy/observations, you can do B.Sc. In Physics and /or Mathematics after 10 + 2. Masters level course in Astronomy with specialisation in Theoretical Astronomy is offered by various institutes and universities. To pursue a career in Instrumentation/Experimental Astronomy, you can do Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electrical / Electronics/Electrical Communications, after 10 + 2. Hi Aniket,
No, I am very sorry to say but you cannot. There are certain standards and rules which you must follow when you are applying to a university or college, you cannot jump from one course to another without a process. If you were interested in astronomy you should have thought about this earlier. The only option for you is to start your Bachelor's degree again but only if you had science in class 12th. If you do not have the slightest of the education background required you have no chance but to see open learning online programs like EdX, CourseEra, etc.

Hi Aniket,
You are good at maths, but still failed. Quite surprising and no, without a strong mathematical background, you cannot possibly study what you want. You should consider retaking the exam and improve your scores significantly to be accepted by universities abroad. If you are really into astronomy I will suggest you take online courses a MOOC. This may help to further advance your studies.
