However, I would like to advise you that please look out for roadshow done by Australian universities in India twice in a year. They give absolutely authentic information. In addition, please approach agencies who send students to Australia for undergraduate studies. They would be knowing all the nuances in the process.

It is very nice to hear from you that you are interested in doing your MS from Australia. Do not worry too much about universities with low fees. Firstly aim should be securing admission. Admissions to MS abroad are not fully dependent on the marks obtained in qualifying exam but there are many nuances to the process. In view of this I would like to advise you that please approach an agency sending students to Australia for MS. They would be knowing how to take care of these nuances. Yes, you can study in Australia. It's going to be competitive because getting a first class makes it easier. However, there are many universities in Australia, all of which are not highly competitive. You can check university's websites for programme specific admission requirements and apply. You have to take the IELTS too.
