There are 3 ways to become pilot after class 12th in India.
1. Join in a DGCA approved flying school and complete your Private Pilot License (PPL) / Commercial Pilot License (CPL) and join as a pilot in an airline.
2. Complete your Bachelors in aeronautical engineering and then go through the above mentioned way.
3. Apply for exams like National Defence Academy (NDA) and become a government trained pilot with free of cost training. As of me, I suggest you to go through the 2nd way because once your aeronautical engineering is completed you are having a backup in life also you will be covering all the basics of aviation which is easy for you during pilot training and Interview. You may also find some other ways but these are efficient. Good luck.

Flight attendants or cabin crew (also known as stewards/stewardesses, air hosts/hostesses, cabin attendants) are members of an aircrew employed by airlines primarily to ensure the safety and comfort of passengers aboard commercial flights, on select business jet aircraft, and on some military aircraft. Jobs & Career prospects for cabin crew attendants:
Due to increase in new airlines in the aviation sector, the aviation industry is expanding. That's why the job opportunities of the Cabin Attendants are growing at a very fast rate. There are good career prospects and excellent growth opportunities for youngster not only in India but also abroad. The Job profile of the flight attendants is very exciting, they can visit all over the world & see various cultures while earning a reasonably good salary at the same time. Flight Steward works in teams to make the passengers comfortable in the Flight and to check the security of the passengers in the tough situations. They also make sure that first-aid kits and other emergency equipment are on board and work properly or not. Flight Steward welcomes the passengers while they are boarding the plane, check their tickets & serves refreshments and food on their journey. They also educate all the passengers, how to use the emergency equipments, supervise them in the seating arrangements and check the safety belt arrangements. Flight Steward & Cabin Crew are mostly employed by the commercial airlines. They can also work in private air transport companies. They can seek job opportunities in Public & Private Sector. How to become Flight Steward & Cabin Crew? Aspirants have to apply in various airlines for different posts that are advertised in national newspapers & other mass media. Once the aspirants are shortlisted, they have to appear for the written test. Successful aspirants will be called for the group discussion & personal interviews. After GD/PI, if aspirants are selected, then the airline trained them for 2 to 3 months. After successful training, aspirants are put on trainee flights before assigning duties.

Aviation is not a specific course. Aviation has many branches. Such as Air Navigation Service, Cabin Crew/ Air Hostess, Cargo Management, Flying/ Pilot Training, Ground Services, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering and Avionics. I'm going to assume that your interest is Cabin Crew/Air Hostess. For this particular course there are around 140 college/ training institutes in India. Most of them offer a diploma and some only training certificate. Once you finish your course you have a wide variety of airline companies to choose from. Especially since the industry is seeing considerable growth. You may get placed in a reservation department, cabin crew, ground staff, lounge handling/service, customer service etc. These are your primary options available and these varies depending on your communication skills, management skills and situation handling skills.
