For admission to the B.A. LL.B. Direction at Government Law College, Madurai, the cutoff is primarily based on Class 12 marks.

For General category, you want around eighty five–ninety marks out of one hundred.

For BC/MBC/SC/ST, cutoffs are barely lower, around 80–eighty five marks.

The final cutoff can range each year relying at the range of candidates.

Higher marks provide better chances in the TNDALU counselling technique.

(Hons.) course, approved by the Bar Council of India. Eligibility requires 10+2 with a minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST). Fees are around INR 1.20 Lacs per year or INR 6 Lacs total.

General test with sections on General Knowledge, Current Affairs, General Mental Ability, Numerical Ability, Reasoning, and Logical & Analytical Reasoning. Additionally, the CUET requires a language proficiency test and may include an optional domain-specific subject like Legal Studies.

BA LLB generally has higher competition for admissions as it is offered by top NLUs, private law colleges and prestigious central/state universities, with entrance exams such as AILET, CLAT, and SLAT, having low acceptance rates.

On the other hand, LLB (3 year course) is mainly available at all the top law universities, which makes the competition even more than BA LLB.
