Sharda School of Law conducts various exams for admisiion such as SUAT and CLAT whose cutoffs varries every year according the number of students attended, difficuilty level of exam. Placements at NLU Kolkata (NUJS) are excellent, with high percentage of students getting placed every year. Top law firms like Khaitan and Co., Trilegal, SAM, CAM and others recruit students from the college and the highest salary package received was INR 60 LPA in the recent batch. Almost all Tier 1 law firms participate in the day zero placements and placements continue throughout the year. Average package offered is around INR 15 Lacs and public sector undertakings also participate in placements. Some students secure pre-placement offers (PPOs) as well.
