For admission to BA LLB programme of Faculty of Law, Calcutta University, candidates must meet the prescribed eligibility and selection criteria. The aspirants who are Class 12 pass with at least 45% aggregate (40% for reserved categories) are eligible to register and take the entrance test. Calcutta University admit candidates to the integrated course based on Calcutta University Law Entrance Test (CULET-UG) scores. After selection, candidates need to take part in e-counselling for seat allotment. After this, the coure fee amount can be paid for seat confirmation.

The Calcutta University Law Entrance Test (CULET-UG) 2024 was conducted on Aug 18. This exam date is as per the 2024 official notification released by the university. For 2024 admission, the e-counselling rounds were scheduled on Aug 30, 2024, Sep 9, 2024 and Sep 13, 2024, as per unofficial sources.

A concise placements report is not available as of now for BA LLB placed students. However, as per the Calcutta University NIRF report 2023, the median package offered to UG (five-year) students stood at INR 7.84 LPA. Moreover, out of 119 students, 95 were placed.

To get admission to BA LLB at SLS Hyderabad is not tough if candidates have a valid qualification. The qualification for the BA LLB course is listed below:
- Candidate should have obtained Class 12 or equivalent examination from any recognised board with a minimum of 45% marks or equivalent grade.
- Those belonging to SC/ ST category should have obtained 40% marks to be eligible.
