Hi Prince,
First, I'd ask you a question. Why not 3 year LLB?
For the purposes of elaboration, I've mentioned the basic differentiation between the two.
Five year LLB is an integrated course where the students do not have to undergo graduation twice, i.e. 3 years of graduation in any stream and then again 3 years of law; but here they will receive a consolidated BA LLB degree upon finishing the course in a period of 5 years. Earlier, the Bar Council of India (BCI) had an age limit of 20 years to pursue five year LLB course, but after facing criticism from the Supreme Court, the age limit was increased to 22 years. No, AU is not better than Banaras Hindu University for the B.A LL.B as in AU you can't find such an experienced faculty that are present in BHU plus in BHU you will get study environment that is not available in AU. Placements of last year of BHU has average package of 5 LPA whereas of AU is just 2.25 LPA.
