Hi Anusua.
Amity, Kolkata has good placement although it does not guarantee 100% placements. Major recruiters are Adobe, British Airways, BNP Paribas, BAJAJ ALLIANZ, Aviva Life, BPL, etc. You can expect a starting salary from 2.5 lakhs to 10 LPA depending on your own calibre.

Not bad. See there are plenty of good law colleges in Kolkata - Hazra Law College under CU, Amity University, etc. All of these will provide you a good legal education. The main problem is - that Kolkata also has NUJS - somewhat of a Goliath/Titan so far as Indian law sector is concerned. So the graduates of Hazra, Amity will always face stiff competition from NUJS grads - as most employers will have some bias/preference towards them. That does not mean that you cannot get placed if you don't go to NUJS - with good grades and balanced extracurriculars like moot competitions, law reviews, etc. You can get your foot in at many firms.

Fees payment in Presidency is either semester wise or yearly. There are 2 semester each year, so you can plan accordingly.

MAIMS is better than VIPS. But you need a much greater rank for both of the colleges as both colleges are good in terms of studies and ranking. You can go for BVP also. But it only has BBA LLB course which is not fit for you if you are from commerce background. You can try for BVP NLC, Pune which is also one of the top colleges for law in India.
