If you wish to become a lawyer and be able to practice in the court of Law, you will have to complete the 3 year LLB program for which the eligibility is a graduation in any stream.
Different law Universities and colleges conduct different law entrance exams, to admit students to their courses, like NET (National Entrance Test), CLAT (Common Law Admission Test), Department of Law University of Delhi take admission through a common Entrance Test for all the three Law Centres (Campus Law Centre, Law Centre-I and Law Centre-II).

Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) was created in 2003 by the Gujarat National Law University Act, 2003. It released its notification for the first year of instruction for its three 5 year integrated courses, BA LLB, B.Sc LLB and B.Com LLB. 15% reservation for SC, 7.5% for ST and 10% for residents of Gujarat. In all, there are 160 students, 80 in a section.
Eligibility - 50% in 10+2 examination or its equivalent. Those appearing for the 2008 March/April exam are also eligible. The age limit is below 20 years as on July 1 of the year of admission. The age limit for SC/ST students is 22 years.

It's great for students who wish to pursue law. You would get the opportunity to understand law better in these five-year as compared to three year LLB course. First and second year you'll have both law and B.A subject, after second you will have all law subjects. B.A.LL.B course saves your one year which is a great benefit of this course.
