GK - Art, literature, drama, culture, dress, cuisines, geography, nobel laureates etc. Of those countries only the languages of which has been opted by you or fall in the cluster of languages for which you have applied. Reasoning - Coding-decoding (Alphabetical only), Blood Relations, Syllogism, Direction and ranking test
English - Basic grammatical Rules, Vocabs, Reading Comprehension and passage. Read the editorials and additional articles of The Hindu. English Comprises a major chunk of marks in this exam so a nice command over grammar and writing skills will obviously sail you through this exam easily. A mere perfect command over English won't work unless your answer sheet is repleted with YOUR insightful ideas in the essay. As Essay and Paragraph carry 2030 marks, so you can't get marks just by showing off your ultrasophisticated style of English writing using goobledygooks and hard vocabs. You can do the B.Ed from IGNOU as you have teaching experience. IGNOU is more desirable for the students of today than any other university. Bachelor of Education or B.Ed. From IGNOU is recognised by the National Council for Teachers Education. It is probably the only university that has a flexible class with the degree that is recognised globally. Eligibility:
Candidates with:
a)at least fifty percent marks either in the Bachelors Degree and/or in the Masters Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Commerce/Humanity. Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialisation in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, and
b) The following categories are eligible to be students of B.Ed. (ODL): (I)Trained in-service teachers in elementary education. (ii)Candidates who have completed a NCTE recognised teacher education programme through face-to-face mode. The reservation and relaxation of 5% marks in minimum eligibility will be provided to SC/ST/OBC (Non creamy layer)/PWD candidates as per the rules of the Central Government.
