Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Arts/Commerce/Science streams from any recognised board with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in aggregate. Candidates must have B.A. Or B.Sc. Degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA. B.Sc. Degree holders must have studied any two of the following subjects; Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany or Zoology. Or B.A. Degree holders must have studied any one of the following subjects; Hindi, English, Gujarati, Marathi or Urdu And any one of History, Economics, Geography or Political Science.

The eligibility criteria to join B.Ed course for Hindi streams are :
1 -Graduate/post graduate degreewith a minimum aggregate of 55 percent marks (40 percent marks in case of SC/ST candidates).
2- Two years of relevant teaching experience from a CBSE/ICSE/NCTE or state board affiliated school/institution or organisation. Age limit:
- For fresher students - 40 Years
-For deputed students - 45 Years.

There is no requirement of having maths in 12th. For admission in B.A (Hons. ) economics, you need to have minimum 40% marks.

I think, you should opt both Polytechnic via regular mode of education and B.A. via distance mode of education. After this, you'll get both certificates at the same time.
