Having completed my Bachelors in Journalism and Mass Communication and MA in Mass comm from two of the leading universities of West Bengal, Calcutta and Jadavpur respectively, I can tell you this - it's all worth it.
But education is just ONE side of the coin. Hard work pays off. I wanted to focus on a career in Corporate Communications initially, but that's when the social media scene in India picked up and I lapped it up. Simple B.A. can get you different jobs depending on subject of B.A. If you do B.Ed, you can get a teaching job. Clerical jobs are also available. There are plenty of positions which require graduate from any field. It all depends on what is your aim. Do not go for available jobs but a job that you desire. This will bring fulfillment.
