In UPSC civil exams, most of the topics are from humanity subject. If you do BA in political science, that will be a good option in spite of doing B.Sc or B.Tech. B.Sc is also a good option after BA.

If you want to crack the exam, BA is the best option as it will help you with your political knowledge of a country and international geographical aspects of the world history of the whole the current affairs and it will keep you up to date, whereas, B.Com and B.Tech are specific subjects in a field, they won't be able to give you an overall knowledge as BA.

Hello Ritika, I can understand your concern and angst. Unfortunately there is no system of "exam for improvement" fir B.A. Even though it's available for 12th. Perhaps you may do B.A. In another subject and hope to get better marks? Best wishes.

Hello Bireshwar, Though your query is bit perplexing, I will attempt to answer as per my understanding of your query. B.A. (honours) and B.A. Are at same level. One either takes B.A. Or B.A. (hon) after 12th. There is no B.A. (honours) after B.A.
