The major difference between the two is that B.A JMC deals with mass communication as well as journalism field whereas B.A journalism only deals with specialization in hardcore journalism.

B.A. in economics is a 3- year long course generally comprising qualitative and quantitative approaches to social science. The course essentially involves a study of the main aspects related to improving an organizations overall profitability through different approaches and techniques.
The principal subjects covered in the curriculum are microeconomics, macroeconomics, political economics, etc.

Hi Dilip,
You need to clear your 10+2 first of all in order to be eligible to apply for this course. Once, you have completed your HSC you can apply on the institute's website with the required information. The admission will be based on the marks that you secured in your 12th standard.

Hi Samir,
I am sorry to say but it is very difficult to get St. Xavier's College for Bachelor of Arts (BA) with 72%. You can still wait for their cutoff if in case you can crack the same. Meanwhile you can opt any other college as a second option.
