The program aims to introduce a wide range of literatures in English. At a primary level, this program aims to offer opportunity to the students to read and respond to a large spectrum of novels, plays and poetry with associated genres.
At a secondary level, the students will be exposed to wider socio-cultural and political issues in relation to contemporary English Literature. This intensive Honors program in English would serve as an excellent foundation to students who want to pursue an in-depth study.
English has emerged as one of the most sought after language courses all over the world by virtue of its richness, variety and complexity in content and diversity in application. It opens up a spectrum of career options such as creative writing, content writing, content writing, journalism, etc. Also, the corporate world is open to professionals with a strong foundation in English.

For a career in counseling, after 10+2 one can do their graduation in subjects like psychology, social work etc. And can go for post graduation in counseling, Life skill education or psychology from an accredited educational institution. Candidates who have Masters degree in any area are eligible to apply for Diploma Course in Counseling, but some institutes prefer students with psychology background. The duration of the course varies from 1- 2 years. Those having a graduation in Psychology can opt for PG Diploma Courses. Besides regular studies, most courses in counseling and guidance are also offered as part time as well as correspondence. Hope this helps.
