The admission process varies according to the degree course you want to pursue, if you want to pursue a graduation course, then online application can be submitted but if you wish to do a master's course, then you have to physically submit all the documents at the office of SOL.
The documents you will be needing are 10th marksheet, 12th marksheet, graduation marksheet (for master's) and character certificate.
Exams for Master's are held semester wise in May and December. Fees for http://M.com is around 5000 and the admission process lasts till end of august.
If you are pursuing a regular course from DU then you cannot pursue another degree course from SOL but you can pursue a diploma or a certificate program.

BA English Hons. is a fairly flexible course and various diverse careers are available to you such as Management careers - Marketing, Human Resources etc; hospitality; event management; public relations; corporate communications; instructional design; Media careers like Advertising, Journalism and Film Making; Academic careers like Research and particularly Training. You could also do an MA or an MBA or take up some of the Professional courses. One of the great employment options is journalism or reporting. However you may also need a journalism degree, but many employers are willing to take your English degree as substitute. You can actually do the reporting and writing for papers, magazines, and books, or you can find positions in editing and critiquing.You could also try the retail sector because it offers a diverse working environment where you can work your way up a corporate ladder using your education.Instructional design is where a lot of English majors find their niche, writing classroom, safety, and instructional information for companies, technology, and just about anything you can imagine from safety warning to manuals or instructions for use. If you love to write, you could be an author, who dedicates their time to writing books on all kinds of topics. Those that do want to write often freelance, writing articles and information for books, magazines, websites, doctors, schools etc. You have a lot of options with an English degree and you will likely find it a very rewarding career choice. You can take your English degree in just about any direction and really make it work for you.

Sociology is the study of society, the various interactions therein, the impact of various cultures on each other and the individual. Sociologists study human behaviour, which is greatly influenced and governed by social, religious and legal norms.
There are several career options available after BA sociology. Much depends on the aspect of the subject that has interested you during graduation which can lead to careers in social services, education, welfare services, government, criminal justice, counseling, communications and several others. You can also get into research and become Data analyst, Survey researcher, Project manager etc. Besides this one can get jobs in government organizations as Personnel coordinator, Foreign service officer, Human rights officer etc.
As regards admission to Hindu College, this will depend on the cut-offs declared this year for admission. But there are many other good colleges in Delhi University which also offer BA sociology.
