It is a good college. Students from Architecture department performs really well in GATE exams and pursue M.Tech or M.Plan from good colleges like IIT or SPA. I personally know few fellow batch mates in MCP IIT KGP) department from NIT Raipur.

B.Arch is a 5-year professional degree course. One can go for a job after B.Arch for a good experience or can start own consultancy firm (firm needs experience which one can GET only after job). Council of Architecture (COA) India provides a license for practicing as an architect. In terms of colleges, Few of the top Indian architectural colleges are:
- SPA Delhi, - Sir J. J College of architecture and arts, Mumbai
- CEPT Ahmedabad
- CCA Chandigarh
- NITs of Hamirpur, Bhopal, Kozhikode, Patna, Jaipur, Trichy
