No. I would never recommend. Moreover, any programme like distance course in engineering or architecture is not possible too. Certifications/ Associateship Examinations may be an option. If you have come to know something like distance course, that's false and someone is cheating on you. Please, be careful before investing in such things your hard earned money. Learning off-campus or face to face doesn't matter much if you have availability of performing practical work and there are teachers as well as material to learn theoretical concepts.

No, you can check the website of IIA. The Indian Institute of Architects run its professional associateship examination equivalent to B.Arch and the recognition of the examination is also required to be checked by you before taking the admission. NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) is an exam organized for the students who want to make a career in the architecture field. This is for UG and PG course in 423 affiliated college from the Council of Architecture. This is not a compulsory exam for aspirant who want to do B.Arch. Hi,
Yes, you will be able to study B.Arch even if you didn't give NATA. Though NATA is the most common exam to get into over 200 colleges all over the country. There are other tests like JEE paper 2 for architecture and planning courses. National Institutes of Technology and Schools of Planning and Architecture offer these courses based on JEE paper 2 scores. Here is a link that will help you with details of these examinations.

Sir JJ School of Architecture offers five year full time course in architecture. Candidates who have passed HSC/10+2 exam in Science stream with subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with minimum aggregate of 50 percent marks from recognised board. This is the best combination that nowadays are in very demands. If you are pursuing B.Arch it means that now you are expert in designing.
