Interior Designing, as a profession, is gaining huge popularity in India. It is a profession that lets one express his/her creativity through work. Diverse job opportunities exist in front of interior design professionals. They may either choose to work under supervised setup (Design studios and Interior design firms) or work independently. When it comes to Government sector jobs, PWDs, Municipal Corporations and Town Planning Departments are known to hire interior design professionals. Hi Neha Boby, it may be possible depending on the university. Some universities like UBC requires Geography! You have to check some university websites to have an idea. Your admissions will also depend on your portfolio and creative test. Instead of B.Arch check for Bachelor of Design programs. Interior Design, Fashion Design programs may take you in.
