To secure admission to UG programs, the candidate should have cleared 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognised Board. Candidates belonging to General category should have obtained a minimum of 50% marks. A candidate can apply to the courses offered at IGNOU either online or offline. However, a candidate must note that IGNOUs online admission system is activated only for Indian Nationals. Admission to a majority of the courses is granted on the basis of merit.

In order to fulfill the eligibility criteria, a candidate must have passed 10+2 with Commerce and Accountancy from a recognized board.

The admission to B.Com Course from the session 2018-19 under semester system shall be made according to the provisions, PU calendar. Admission to the first semester of B.Com. Degree course shall be open to a person who has passed one of the following examinations conducted by a recognised board.

I would like to know what is your category in order to tell you if you can get admission in VIPS as the admission procedure is regulated by rank system and different categories have different ranks in each college.
