Hello Anurag! A PGDM degree is considered equal to an MBA. Both degrees are equally good; what matters the most is from which college you are pursuing it. For example, an MBA from a below average college has no value as compared to a PGDM from an IIM or non-IIM.

There are many options to venture into to be a part of the tourism sector; public and private. The following are some of the profiles one can look into:
Tourism Department: There are jobs as Reservation and counter staff, Sales and marketing staff, Tour Planners and Tour guides. Students with B.Com degree have options of doing higher post graduate studies such as M.Com, MBA, MCA or PG Diplomas or LLB, MA Mass Communication. MSW etc. You had also do one year long PG diploma in area of your interests such as Banking, Insurance, capital market, HR, sales etc. You can also do industry specific certifications such as LOMA, IIBA. Hello Himanshi,
Depending upon your interest level, you can choose. If you happen to choose MBA then finance specialisation would suit you.
Or if you believe, you can crack SSC, then go for it.
By the way, for getting admission into MBA, you will have to go through CAT / MAT / CET /SNAP, etc. qualifying exams.
and simultaneously you can fill forms of SSC too, since the syllabus of both of the exams is similar, Maths, reasoning, English, etc.
