The BCom admission process at Sasurie College of Arts and Science comprises four basic steps. At first, students who meet the eligibility requirements must visit the institute's official website and fill out an application form. Further, the institute ranks applicants based on scores obtained by them in the qualifying examination. Further, the admission committee shortlists students based on their rank and seat intake. At last, students who are offered admissions must pay the fees prescribed by the institute.

Kumaun University offers a total number of 6,775 seats. On the other hand, the Doon University only offers 200 seats for the BCom course. The reason for this big difference in seat intake is because Kumaun University is affiliated with around 30 colleges that offer BCom courses in general and honors degrees. However, Doon University does not offer BCom courses with affiliated colleges.
