Q:   Is CCS University under CUET?

A: 

No, CCSU is not a participating university of CUET. As UPCET is scrapped, CUET-PG exam score and counselling is considered for admission to MBA and MCA courses. The admission process includes the application process, selection round, cutoff, merit list or counselling and other steps.CCS University admission is merit-based for all UG except BTech, diploma, PG and certificate courses. The university conducts an entrance exam for admission to M.Ed and LLM. For admission in B.P.Ed. and M.P.Ed., there will be no entrance exam.

Q:   How can I get admission in CCS University?

A: 

CCSU admission to UG and PG courses is both merit and entrance-based. Aspirants need to follow the below steps to get a seat in CCS University:

STEP 1: CCSU Application Process 2024

Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria can apply for any of the CCSU courses. Aspirants need to apply with an entrance exam fee of INR 700 (INR 500 for SC/ ST) for M.Ed and LLM courses.

STEP 2: Selection/ Entrance Exam

After the completion of the registration process, candidates can move on to the selection process. CCSU selects candidates for LLM and M.Ed programme based on the entrance exam conducted by the university. Apart from these, the university accepts national-level entrance exams or provide admission based on merit in the last qualifying exam.

STEP 3: Result & Merit List

After the completion of the selection rounds, CCS University release the result. The university also releases merit list announcing the names of the shortlisted candidates. 

STEP 4: Counselling & Document Verification

After completion of the selection rounds, CCSU releases merit list. The university releases the merit list between July and August with the names of the shortlisted aspirants. Further, selected aspirants need to pay a course fee to confirm their seat in the university. Shortlisted aspirants must appear before the admission committee along with the original and photocopy of the below documents for verification:

  • Copy of online registration form
  • Copy of online offer letter
  • Copy of entrance exam result
  • Copy of high school marksheet and certificate
  • Copy of intermediate marksheet and certificate
  • Photocopy of graduation marksheet
  • Copy of caste certificate
  • Copy of EWS certificate (if applicable)
  • Copy of certificate regarding surcharge
  • Copy of Aadhaar Card

Q:   What is passing marks in CCSU?

A: 

Candidates applying for any of the CCSU course must fulfil the eligibiltiy criteria defined. Below is the passing criteria for CCSU admission:

Decent education but lacks consistency and industry focus.
Placements: Around 60% of the students were placed, with the highest package at 5 LPA, the lowest at 2.5 LPA and an average of 3.5 LPA. Top recruiters include Sun Pharma and Cipla. About 50% of students secured internships in local pharmacies and healthcare companies. The top roles offered were in sales, quality control, and research assistance.
Infrastructure: The facilities are solid with well-equipped labs and decent classrooms. And a library that's good but could be more resourceful/ Wi-Fi is available. The hostel is okay, though maintenance could improve. The food is average, but the canteen is better. Medical facilities are basic, and sports options are limited.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified and knowledgeable but not always approachable or helpful. Teaching quality varies. Some subjects are well-covered, others not so much. The curriculum is somewhat relevant but lacks industry focus. Exams can be tricky, with moderate difficulty. The pass percentage is decent.

College review, placement and fee structure.
Placements: Almost every student got placed in this college with an average salary of 4.5 to 5 LPA. Companies like Deloitte and TCS come for hiring. In the final year, students get placed in companies for internships with an average stipend of INR 8000. However, each company has a different stipend structure.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and hostel of this college are average, and while the library facilities and Wi-Fi are available, they are not as good as students expect in college life. The mess food is good, but there are no sports facilities or faculty.
Faculty: The faculty members of this college are experienced, with good communication skills. They have at least seven years of teaching experience. Two-semester papers are conducted each year, with six subjects in each semester. The difficulty level of the papers is moderate, and the passing criterion is a minimum score of 60 out of 150, with 100 marks for external and 50 for internal.
Other: The crowd at this college is mixed. Some students are only interested in getting their degree, while others are focused on getting a good placement. There is only one fest held per year, which is a lot less than other colleges.

Absolutely disappointed my expectations.
Placements: Only a few students in MIMT get good placements. The overall placement is not good. The highest package in the management department was only 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Kotak Bank, Physics Wallah, etc. Students got internships in Coca-Cola, Navbharat Times, etc.
Infrastructure: The classes are good; we have smart classes, libraries which you can access, and labs. The hostel facilities are below average, so do not expect too much. And do clear your every query before getting admission to this college. You can also negotiate your fees at the time of admission.
Faculty: Some teachers are very good, but some of them are really bad. The course curriculum is above average overall, better than other colleges in Greater Noida. The pass percentage is very good in this college. It makes the students industry-ready for sure. So think wisely.
Other: I chose this course just because I needed a degree to add to my other qualifications. They can surely improve the faculty. They do not organize fests in this college; it's a family business school.

Good faculty and infrastructure good college in private for law.
Placements: 50% of the students in my graduating class were placed each year. The highest salary offered was 40, LPA and the lowest salary offered was 10 LPA. Most of the students (90%) were placed with senior advocates rather than companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, and the classrooms, Wi-Fi, labs, and library are top-notch. Everything is provided without any glitches. The hostel facilities are average, including the mess and canteen. The food in the mess is not very good, and students are often dissatisfied. The medical facility and sports culture are good.
Faculty: The faculty at this college was good. They were well qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum was relevant and prepared students for the future. The semester exams were not that difficult if we study, we should be able to pass with a 33% passing percentage.
Other: I chose to study law because I have a family background in law, I am a third-generation law student, and I have a huge interest in the field. Law is a professional course with a lot of reputation, which is why I chose it. Unfortunately, my college campus doesn't have a lot of events or festivals, and the student body is only average. However, the campus surroundings are good.

Infrastructure is not good and the classes are not well maintained.
Placements: The top recruiting companies are Dabur and Aurobindo Pharma. They don't give much attention to students. The highest salary package is 5.2 lakhs per annum, and the minimum salary package is 2 lakhs per annum. After completing B.Pharma, we can join any industry, including jobs as a medical representative, quality assurance, and quality control.
Infrastructure: The pharmacy department is not well maintained. Lab equipment is missing, and they provide expired chemicals for experiments. Wi-Fi is not available, and the canteen menu is not very extensive. There are two canteens on campus, but neither has adequate seating.
Faculty: Exams are conducted by AKTU University at different centers as specified by the university. Exams are easy if you are well prepared. We can easily pass the exam with good marks or a CGPA if we go through past year question-papers.

Q:   Does CCS University accept JEE Main score?

A: 

Yes, as the UPCET exam was scrapped in 2022. Now JEE Mains is accepted. Further, admission can be done through counselling conducted by Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU). Further, the seat allotment for vacant seats shall be done on a merit basis after the conclusion of state-level counselling. Additionally, admissions under lateral entries in BTech (against the vacant seats after counselling) will be done on the basis of the merit of the corresponding exam related to the eligibility criterion.
