Symbiosis College of Arts & Commerce Pune does have good placement opportunities. It has an active placement cell which ensures that the students are bestowed with good opportunities and get good placements as per they skills and knowledge. Over the past few years, they had the Big 4s (Deloitte, Ernst & Young (EY), PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), and Klynveld Peat Marwick Goerdeler (KPMG) and various other corporate giants on campus including the D.E. Shaw Group, Wipro, Goldman Sachs.

IBM GLA University BCom admission is entrance-based. Admission to the BCom programme is based on GLAET rank. However, to be eligible for GLAET, a candidate needs to pass Class 12 from a recognised board with a minimum of 50 per cent aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST category candidates).

Any candidate who has cleared Class 12 can apply for the same. Admission to BCom is done on merit basis. The final merit list of selected students is based on the HSC scores.

For admission to BCom course at New Horizon College Kasturinagar, it is mandatory for all the aspirants to pass Class 12 from a recognised board, or the second PUC of the Karnataka state, or an equivalent examination, as recognised by Bengaluru North University (BNU). They may have passed Class 12/II PUC in any stream as there is no specific stream specified in the NHCK BCom eligibility criteria. New Horizon College Kasturinagar BCom course is affiliated with BNU. Admission to the programme is subject to approval by Bengaluru North University (BNU).

Yes, New Horizon College, Kasturi Nagar offers a full-time BCom course at the UG level. This course is offered in affiliation with Bengaluru North University (BNU). Hence, graduates get a BNU degree on completion of the programme. At NHCK, students can choose following BCom courses:

  • BCom Executive - 3 years
  • BCom Executive + Dual Certification - 3 years
  • BCom (Honours) - 4 years

The fee for B.Com at Symbiosis College of Arts & Commerce Pune is diiferent for different category students.

For category students, it is 17300 for the first year ,15100 for second year and 15600 for the third year

For home state students (Maharashtra), the fees is 19100 for the first year, 16900 for the second year and 17400 for the 3rd year

For other state students, its 20100 for first year, 17900 for the second year and 18400 for the 3rd year

For SAARC countries student, its 20200 for the first year, 18000 for 2nd and 18500 for the 3rd

And for other country students, its 21800 for the first year ,19600 for the 2nd and 20100 for the 3rd y

 In order to get admission to KJ Somaiya College BCom course, students need to fulfil the minimum eligibility, i.e., qualify Class 12 with minimum percentage. Admission to UG courses at the college is merit-based.

The difference between BCom and BCom (Hons) is a very thin line. In the BCom course, a student can specialise in a certain subject, such as Accounts, Economics, etc. For BCom (Hons), students need to study more research-based subjects.
