First and foremost, you need to understand that the vacancies are less in comparison to the number of candidates clearing UGC NET JRF every year. And more vacancies cannot be generated until or unless more institutions are constituted. Therefore, you will have to take it with a pinch of salt that clearing UGC NET JRF does not guarantee a job. It is not that you will sit idle after having a NET/JRF qualification or your hard work will go waste. Just understand that, when the Universities have a plethora of options to choose from then what is it that will make you stand out in the crowd? Nowadays only possessing a qualification does not REAP benefits, you need to possess some internal skills as well.

College of Vocational Studies was founded in 1972 and is famous for Vocational courses as it is the only college in Delhi University which provides these courses. I would like to clear out some thing one by one. Placement - College Placement Cell is not good at all. Before 2012 it did not even had a placement cell at all. Do not expect good placements from the college. Campus - Campus is below average. In fact most of the DU college have the same problem. Faculty- There are some very knowledgeable teachers in the panel but there are some who you will think should have been your students. At the end of the day you can not rely on faculty you will have to study on your own. Fees - Fees is very low. (It was 8.5k for my course)
Many people do not even know that it offers courses other than vocational ones.

Under the subject, students get to learn about the concepts involved in cost accounting and methods involved in cost ascertainment systems. Additionally, the subject imparts knowledge of using costing data for planning, controlling and decision making.
