First of all, to get admission into Chitkara School of Planning and Architecture for B.Des, you need two things. Firstly, you have to pass in XII (Any stream). Secondly, a valid UCEED scores for admission to the B.Des course. Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED) is a test centre-based examination of 3 hours duration for admission to Bachelor of Design (B. Des.). Cut-off for this exam is around 80 marks.

Chitkara Design School is considered to be a good option for B.Des. However there are both strengths and weaknesses at Chitkara Design School. The school offers good placement and internship opportunities from the second year, the faculty members are industry professionals and design educators who provide practical teaching. The fees might be slightly higher compared to other competitive design schools. The competition for joining a course in Chitkara Design School is harder.
