Yes, Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design, & Technology conducts the SMEAT exam to shortlist candidates for admission to the UG courses. SMEAT exam is conducted in three cycles. It is an online computer-based test required for BDes admission. Apart from SMEAT, aspirants can also apply for BDes based on national-level entrance exams like UCEED or SAT India.

Candidates must pay the course fee after completion of the selection rounds to confirm their seat. Apart from the programme fee, candidates also need to pay a registration fee of INR 600. The BDES placement details of DOT School of Design are yet to be released on the official website of DOT School of Design. However, the institute offers various assistance programs to help students choose their path into the future, which are presented below:

No, It's not possible to get admission into Bachelor's of Design if you did Diploma in mechanical engineering. The eligiblity to get enroll into B.Des you must have passed class 12th in any stream or have completed Diploma in design.
