B.Des course's syllabus depends upon the courses you opt. The basic knowledge of technical drawings is essential for a designer in B. Des courses like product design, Industrial design, Transport design, Knitwear, Graphic, Apparel production etc. However the technical drawings knowledge is not essential for courses like Fashion design, Communication design etc. So you will learn about the basic drawings skill during the first year of your courses.

IILM Gurgaon can be rated as good University but not very good or best. NIFT Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and NID Ahmedabad are the best for pursuing B. Des courses. The possibilities of getting placement from these institutes are very high because of their reputation and infrastructure and facilities. So prefer to do the B. Des. Courses from the NIFT or NID.
