Des in Fashion Design, Students coming from any 10+2 or graduation discipline from a recognised university, or board with a minimum aggregate of 50%, can appear for any entrance or admission process or any design course. You can also have a look at IILM University, Gurugram. You can appear for IILM University Gurugram's Design Aptitude Test (that) with the Interview Process for applying. They offer B. Des degree programs with various specializations like Fashion, Interior, Interaction, and Product Design of 4-years with an added advantage of Liberal Education in their curriculum with good and advanced

To apply for an undergraduate course in Design & Fashion at IILM University, you are required to have completed 10+2 from a recognised board. Further, the next Online Design Aptitude Test is being held on 23rd May for admission to the Design & Fashion courses. The School of Design & Fashion at IILM University offers B. Des in Interaction/ Fashion / Product / Interior Design and B.A. (Hons) programs in Fine Arts / Graphic Design / Luxury Design Management / 3D Animation & Gaming to name a few.

Eligibility criteria : Bachelors Degree in Design/Engineering/Architecture/ Interior Design: 10+2+4 years (minimum four year Bachelors course).
Note: B.Plan. considered equivalent to B.Arch. Four year B.Sc (Engg) course after HSC considered equivalent to BE/B.Tech.
OR Professional Diploma in Design: 10+2+4 years (minimum four year Diploma program).
OR BFA Sculpture (4 year professional program with entry after 10+2).
So from above B.Des is not mandatory for the asked course.
