You should pursue B.Sc. As it is more research-based and has more theory than B. Des. B.Sc. Candidates are considered eligible for the teaching profession.

NID has its own entrance exam. There are coaching centers like BRDS, who provide sample papers. Once you clear entrance, the interview is held by a team of 5 to 6 Jury members.

The basic difference between two is that B.Sc. Is of 3 years whereas B.Des is of 4 years duration. B.Des is a technical degree which is we can is parallel to B.Tech.
