No, there is no provision for the students to take direct admission in BDes at the School of Design. The admission is subject to fullfillment of the set eligibility criteria. Also, it is important to achieve valid score in the accepted national level entrance exams such as the NID/NIFT/UCEED/JEE/UPESDAT/CUET.

The BDes programme is offered to the students by School of Design UPES for a duration of four years in wide range of specialisations as per the interest of students. The total of tuition fee that the students need to pay eventually during the course duration ranges from  INR 22.6 Lakh to INR 43.7 Lakh.

The eligibility criteria for the students seeking admission in the School of Design UPES, states that students should have an aggregate of 50% in both Class 10 and Class 12. Additionally, the students are advised to make and maintain a portfolio which could be used to demonstrate the skills to the interviewers during the interview.
