LNCT does not provide any fee waiver for those who's parents income is less than 5 lakh. But if you belong to some quota other than general then surely scholarships are given every year. Except this if you have scored 9+ then chancellor award (scholarship) is also given to you.

Candidate must have passed Diploma/ Graduation from a recognized board/ college/ university.
or
Candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board and must have 2 years of working experience.
or
Candidate must have secured minimum 60% marks in Fire and Safety 6 months' course (only for students studying under Continuing Education Program of Government Polytechnic, Mumbai).

If you are not an extraordinary student then the % of scholarship lies between 0- 10%. If you have really performed well in the exam then it can even stretch to 50- 80%. Please note that you are compensated only in the tuition fees.

For a candidate to be eligible for M.Tech./M.Arch./M. Plan./M.Des. programme: Must have a valid GATE Score of the year 2016 / 2017 / 2018.
In qualifying degree the candidates should have passed and secured at least 6.5 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 60% for OC/OB, whereas 6.0 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 55% in case of SC/ST/PwD candidates. The above mentioned CGPA/Percentage should be awarded by a recognized University/Institute.
So you can not take admission in NIT, Trichy without a valid gate score.
