It's just a review from one of many.
Placements: Placements are not at all good because of the approach from many companies towards the college as it is difficult to travel and get people from here. So many companies won't reach here thereby decreasing placement opportunities for students.
Infrastructure: They provide good infrastructure like every college. It provides a practical session area. Better lab facilities are available. Some equipment is available, but due to lack of equipment students are unable to work on it, which makes it more difficult.
Faculty: Faculty members are joined and appointed as same as in every government college. They provide better lectures than others but there is the availability of permanent staff and as a result, temporary staff changes frequently which can cause problems.

Absolutely satisfied because of campus atmosphere and faculty members.
Placements: In the 2023 batch, we got 106 offers, and almost every student got placed. Students can be placed either in core companies or in the IT sector. Top recruiters are Oracle, Larsen & Toubro, Mahindra, Bosch, Reliance, etc. For every student placed, the minimum package is 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Classes are not bad at all but not very modern, and we have well-equipped electronics and electrical labs with well-qualified lab assistants. Food from the hostel mess is very good and hygienic. Wi-Fi facilities are available in the college and hostel for laptops only.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They are supportive, clear all doubts, and motivate us for our studies. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not difficult but not easy too. A person who understands concepts can score good grades.
Other: I like to work with electronics and electrical systems, and it is also an emerging field in India now.

A good college for students who want to enjoy their college life and build their career.
Placements: More than 50% of the students were placed. The highest package offered was 15 LPA, and the average was 8 LPA. Top companies like Amazon, Oracle, and Infosys participated in placements at my college. Roles such as electronic design engineer and systems developer were assigned by the companies.
Infrastructure: All necessary facilities are provided by the college, including equipment for lab sessions. 24/7 Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus, accessible via laptops. The hostels are spacious, and the food is good and offered at a very affordable rate. Sports and games camps are held for interested students.
Faculty: The teachers are really qualified and knowledgeable, but all of the teachers may not be helpful until you approach them. They won't help you unless you ask them for it. The teaching quality is okay. The necessary things a student needed for working in the industry are provided in the curriculum. The semester exams are not that difficult for a dedicated student. The pass percentage for my department is more than 90%.

Short review on Government Engineering College, Wayanad.
Placements: The placement rate at our college is very low. Although it is improved by the placement cell, it is still not up to par. The core branch students hardly have any placements. All the placements are there for the computer science students. Even ECE students are placed as software engineers.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is comparatively low. Although it's high altitude and the climate could have natural beauty, it's still hard to reach the location. No train services are available here. The food is highly recommended. The hostel is well run.
Faculty: The teachers at our institution are highly helpful. They provide study materials based on the previous year's university exam. The curriculum is updated every four years, so it keeps on updating. The semester examinations are not something that an average student can pass.
Other: I chose this course I had a great interest in electronics field. The best part of my course is that it is very relevant in this modern world. There are many events in our college. Tech fests, arts fests, sports fests, etc. are organized.

Great campus life and good for a lifetime experience.
Placements: About 70% of the students in my class got placed. The top companies like Oracle, Core al and Commscope etc. recruited students and the CTC varied from 3 lacs to 14 lacs. The placement cell did a great job all these years. Around 40% of us got internship during the course and electronics engineer roles is the top role offered.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the course and hostel are good and convenient for students. College and hostel provide Wi-Fi facility. It is also available in department labs, and library provides more exposure to the core area. Mess and canteen food give a homely feeling, and hostel rooms are good. Also, a gym is there too. Sports and games are conducted in college.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and they are willing to clear doubts. Semester exams in college are of medium difficulty and 45% as the passing marks. Well experienced and knowledgeable teachers are there. For working in a core area, electronics related knowledge is important which can be achieved through the course. Tech fest is conducted at college level and department levels which create a big opportunity for students to get handsome salary packages.
Other: I was interested in electronics area, so the lab sessions and project are very useful in future. There are technical and cultural events conducted in the college.

I am satisfied with the faculty, infrastructure, and good placements in 2022.
Placements: More than 60% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 54 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is 8 LPA. More than 30% of students got internships. Top roles include software developers, business analysts, etc. Top recruiters are Amazon and IBM. Due to COVID-19, placements were conducted online. Recruiting companies were mostly IT companies. Some of them were Infosys, Cognizant, Tata Consultancy Services, Oracle, Toronto, ZS Associates, Neudesic, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities are very good when compared to other government colleges in Kerala. It has a well-defined library, well-conditioned labs, and classrooms. There are good hostels for girls and boys. Medical facilities are also good here.
Faculty: We have good teachers with a good helping mentality. They are well-qualified and have a lot of experience. That is a significant benefit of studying here. They provide a well-designed curriculum with the most industrially required things.

Our college provides good placements.
Placements: More than 50% of students from our college are placed in various companies. The highest salary package offered is 32 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6.8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Oracle, Bosch, Huawei, Larsen & Toubro, SAP, Reliance, Yahoo, and Mahindra. Many students get internships.
Infrastructure: An electronic circuits laboratory, a communication engineering laboratory, a VLSI and embedded systems laboratory, a design studio, a workshop, etc., are provided on campus. A department library, a seminar hall, classrooms with LCD projectors, and a drawing hall are also available in our college. The food served in the hostel and mess is good. Sports and games are also conducted by our seniors and various committees.
Faculty: Teachers here are highly qualified. Students can ask doubts whenever they want. Our course curriculum is relevant and it makes students ready for the industry. Semester exams are moderate. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: This course offers more job opportunities compared to other branches. After the IT section, electronics has a greater scope. Events are conducted at this college.

A short review - Government Engineering College Thrissur.
Placements: 1. More than 70 percent students are placed. Almost all the students got the desired jobs. 2. The highest package is 14 LPA, the lowest is 2.4 LPA, and the medium average is 6 LPA. 3. Deloitte, TCS, Cognizant, etc., are the recruiting companies. 4. About 50 percent of students got internship in companies like Tata Elixi. 5. Electronics system analyst roles were offered.
Infrastructure: 1. Wi-Fi, AC labs, smart classroom, and library in all departments are available. The main attraction of the college was that all the departments were in separate buildings. 2. Hostel facilities are average, average food quality, medical facilities, sports, and games are average.
Faculty: 1. Teachers are extremely qualified, helpful and knowledgeable. In contrast to private colleges, teachers were selected through PSC Exams which is a statewide exam and only the best ones could top. 2. The curriculum is relevant. 3. Exams difficulty is above average. The pass percentage would be above 70.
Other: 1. I chose this course because of vast employment opportunities 2. The college should decrease the number of examination papers as students are under a lot of stress.
