No, Vesveswaraiah Technological University offers Lateral Entry admission to the Bachelor of Engineering /Bachelor of Technology. Students who passed the Diploma are not eligible to take the Entrance Test as there are no lateral entry Vesveswaraiah Technological University admissions. I hope this will help you.

Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Technology Eligibility criteria at Vesveswaraiah Technological University: Students must have passed in 2nd PUC, 12th standard, Equivalent Exam with English as one of the Languages and obtained in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics along with Bio-Technology, Chemistry Biology Electronics, and Computer Science with a minimum of 45 percent marks in aggregate from a recognised Institute or University. Yes, M. V. J. College of Engineering, Pune of Engineering offers Lateral Entry admission to the B.E. /B.Tech courses. Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have passed the Diploma or equivalent examination as recognised by the University, and secured not less than 45 percent marks in the final year examination (5th and 6th semesters), in the relevant branch of Engineering. In the case of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe and OBC students from Karnataka, the minimum marks for eligibility shall be 40 percent. The minimum qualification required to apply is a pass in the 10+2 examination in Science from PUC / ISC / CBSE or an equivalent board. A course recognised as equivalent thereto by the University.
