Hello Nitin, you have asked really interesting and relevant query. But unfortunately the answer is not in one word. When any establishment issues advertisement for vacancies, at that time they will give out eligibility for the prospective candidates to apply. If in your case the advertisement States post graduation in mathematics then you will not be eligible but if it states post graduation in mathematics or any Science subject or graduation in engineering then only you would be eligible. Hi, Admission shall be done on the basis of the score obtained in the entrance test conducted by IGNOU all over India. The following categories are eligible to be students of B.Ed. (ODL): (I) Trained in-service teachers in elementary education. (ii) Candidates who have completed a NCTE recognised teacher education programme through face-to-face mode.
