The minimum qualification required for entry into B.Ed Course is Bachelor of Arts BA. Bachelor of Science (B.Sc Bachelor of commerce form a recognized board/university with at least 50% marks, or Bachelors in Engineering or technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks. I have done M.Sc in economics. Currently, I have a 1-year old daughter so am not working. Can I do B.Ed distance from Annamalai University?

Hi,
Candidates should have undergone 10+2+3 (15) or 11+1+3 (15) pattern of study and passed qualifying examinations conducted by the respective State Board or CBSE or any other recognized Board of Education/Exam and UG Degree Exam of the UGC Recognized Universities in any one of the school subjects offered by the Directorate of School Education at the Secondary/ Higher Secondary Educational Level.
The selection of candidates will be on the basis of the marks secured in the qualifying UG/PG Degree Exam. Candidates will be called for counselling in the order of their rank. Based on the rank and rule of reservations, allotment will be made.

Hi,
Eligibility for B.Ed Admission:
50% marks is required for Bachelor's degree (Graduation) or in the Master's degree or any other qualification equivalent there to be eligible for admission to the programme.
Student have to first apply / enroll for entrance test conducted by the university or state government. NIFM will help to register for entrance exam of B.Ed. Entrance exam registration date is in first or second week of February every year. And, the entrance exam will held in April every year, result of entrance exam will come in May and the session will start in July.

Hi,
The minimum qualification required for entry into B.Ed course is Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc ) or Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) form a recognized board/university with at least 50% marks. So, you are not eligible for B.Ed with graduation mark. Thanks.

Candidate must have completed Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Science/ Social Science/ Commerce Humanity with minimum 50%.
Candidate must be trained in-service teachers in elementary education.
