It is indeed great to know a person who is interested in teaching profession. Of course, it is a very noble and good profession to be in. You get opportunity to shape up the mind of the future of the country and also simultaneously pursue some or the other research in your own domain. About your query about B.Ed. I can tell that B.Ed is required when you are thinking of teaching in schools. However, for teaching in colleges you require a minimum post-graduation in the subject and preferably M.Phil or Ph.D. So, my advice to you would be to take up post-graduation in your field of studies and after completion take up a job in a college and then simultaneously attempt your doctorate.
