Can I do B.Ed in regular mode and MA from IGNOU? Will my degrees be valid for government jobs?

Hi Goal,
An expert committee of the UGC had recommended that students enrolled in a regular degree course should be allowed to pursue an additional degree simultaneously under open or distance education mode from the same or different university. So, you can do B.Ed from regular and MA from IGNOU at same time. Yes, you can display the degree in a government job.

Hi. Yes, after completing Integrated B.Ed. course, one may go for M.Sc or Integrated Masters programs such as M.Sc. M.Ed. or M.A. M.Ed., with relevant subjects.

Eligibility : Intermediate with 50%(Min. 17 Years Age)

Candidate having graduation or Post Graduation from a recognized university with at least 50% marks (General category) are eligible to apply for B.Ed admission in Jadavpur University.

Hi Rishi,
Eligibility for B.Ed at RIE CEE is 50% marks in Bachelors degree and / or Masters Degree in Science / Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialisation in Science or Mathematics or in Bachelors Degree and /or in the Masters Degree in Social Science/Humanities (5% relaxation for SC / ST /PH). So you can appear if you fulfill this criteria.

There are number universities offering B.Ed Distance Education Courses in the country. To get admission in B.Ed Correspondence Course, so here are the eligibility criteria:

Eligibility Criteria :

The Students who want to take admission in B.Ed Program, they must have a Bachelor degree from any recognized University.
You have to appear in entrance test conducted by the University where you want to take admission.
