Both the courses are good but B.Pharma is better. It depends on one's own interests but after B.Sc. in biotech you have to do M.Sc. in biotech.

I have completed my B.Sc Biotechnology from Mumbai University and later, I got to know of a totally new field which very few people in India know about. It's called Nuclear Medicine & Fusion Imaging Technology. It involves use of Radioisotopes in imaging of cancer patients and also it has therapeutic applications. Also very few universities offer the courses related to Nuclear Medicine & most of them are Govt. Universities. The entrance exams are also very competitive . B.Sc. in chemistry is 100 times better than B.Sc. biotechnology, although biotech has a great market abroad but in our country there is no particular job for this. You can go through biotech in M.Sc. if you want to be a biotechnologist, but I would suggest you not to take biotech.
