You will need to keep looking out for the release of applications around May and registration should be done by the second week of June. Counselling is held around June end and course commences at the end of July.

You belong to biology background so firstly, B.Sc genetics and biotechnology is better for you but if you have interest in future technology and software development then you should go for BCA.

DMLT is the option as you will save you a year compared to BMLT. But I would suggest you to go for Masters as biotech is an emerging field and you have bright options as a biotechnologist. Also, if you are inclined towards medical labs, many genetic and molecular labs prefer biotech candidates.

B.Tech Biotech will be better than B.Sc Biotech, because B.Tech have technical. So, you will learn more and you will have great scope in future.

Hi,
Eligibility Criteria for admission to M.Sc in molecular biology and biotechnology in Kalyani university:
Students having B.Sc. with honors in any branch of Life Sciences and Chemistry are eligible for admission. Candidates must have Chemistry or Biochemistry either as honors or general paper in undergraduate course and papers on chemistry (and/or biochemistry) should constitute at least 15% of the total marks allotted in undergraduate level.

Perhaps, there is no college offering this program. If someone says that this is being offered, then it is wrong, because practical oriented courses can't be recognized through distance mode. I would suggest you to go with regular one. Regards.
