First, there are several entry options such as Permanent Commission, Short Service Commission, University Entry Scheme, National Defence Academy, and Combined Defence Services.

A candidate must fulfill the following eligibility criteria before applying for B.Sc Nautical Science at Tolani Maritime:
1) Must have atleast 60% marks in PCM in (10+2)
2) Must have atleast 50% marks in English in (10+2)
Since your cousin does not meet the first criteria, he/she cannot apply for the course.

Currently as of may 2024, in 3rd year BSc naughtical science, only 5 cadets are unplaced, out of which 3 of them have appeared for an interview and the result is yet to come. And by the end of the course the placement percentage for BSc naughtical Science will be 100%.
